Map of new subdivisions, tehsils and sub-tehsils of Rajasthan will change, see complete information here

Jaipur : Census Registrar General approved setting the boundaries of new subdivisions, tehsils and revenue villages announced in the budget in July, but maintained silence on the matter of districts. Questions are being raised whether approval will be given to change the boundaries of new districts at the time of the next census or not? The reason for raising questions is that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has recently said that the census should be conducted soon and the state government is reviewing the boundaries of 19 new districts formed during the previous government in the state.

The Census Registrar General froze the boundaries of all administrative units including districts, subdivisions, tehsils from July 1. Due to this, on August 20, the Revenue Department wrote a letter to the Census Registrar General for relaxation in the ban on creating new districts, subdivisions, tehsils and revenue villages and changing the boundaries. In this matter, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Meanwhile, the Census Registrar General has given permission to issue notification of new villages approved by the Revenue Minister and new subdivisions, tehsils and sub-tehsils announced in the budget, but did not say anything regarding the districts.

On the other hand, after reviewing the 19 new districts formed during the previous government, speculations are being made to merge some new districts and change the boundaries of some districts. In such a situation, if there is any change in these limits, it will not be included in the next census without the approval of the Census Registrar General. Sources say that once the census is announced, there will be no change in the boundaries for a few more years.
