Bhilwara : A scooter riding CA who was going home from office for lunch was attacked by miscreants in broad daylight. The CA was seriously injured and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The incident took place in Gandhinagar area of Pratap Nagar police station area of the city. Here, near Hotel Amar Palace, is the office of CA Raghuraj (52), son of Manohar Singh Lodha. He had left for his home in Kanchipuram from office for lunch. But as soon as they reached near the Ganesh temple, 4 to 5 masked miscreants riding on two bikes came near them. Before they could understand anything, the miscreants started attacking them with iron rods and pipes.
Lodha told- They kept shouting and asking the reason for the fight, but the miscreants did not stop. To avoid the fight, they went to a verandah near the temple. When people gathered there, the miscreants ran away from there. Later, the people present at the spot took him to a private hospital in the city, from where he was taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. At present he is undergoing treatment in the hospital. On receiving the information, ASI Rajendra Pal of Pratap Nagar police station reached Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and recorded the statement of injured Lodha. At present, the police have registered a case on the report of CA Lodha and started searching for unknown miscreants. Besides, CCTV cameras installed around the incident site are also being scrutinized.
