Mumbai, November 14 (IANS). On the occasion of Children’s Day, actress Urmila Matondkar shared a video clip of her childhood on social media. He said that we should keep the child inside us alive.
Urmila Matondkar shared a video montage on social media platform Instagram, which has many pictures from her childhood. Actors Naseeruddin Shah and Rekha are also seen with him in some of these. In the last picture of the series of pictures from childhood to growing up, Urmila is seen hugging with the popular lyricist of the film industry, Gulzar.
Sharing the video, the actress wrote in the caption, “Always keep the child inside you alive, safe! Well, it’s easier said than done. Here are some of my tips for this. Be less critical, love without fear, embrace your weaknesses. Accept and protect them and above all love yourself, Happy Children’s Day friends.”

The song “Lakdi Ki Kathi” is from the film ‘Masoom’ released in 1983. Sung by Gauri Bapat, Gurpreet Kaur and Vanita Mishra, the track was picturized on Urmila Matondkar, Aradhana Srivastava and Jugal Hansraj. This song is still popular among children.
The drama film Masoom, directed by Shekhar Kapur, is based on the 1980 novel ‘Man Woman and Child’ by Eric Segal. The film stars Tanuja, Supriya Pathak and Saeed Jaffrey along with Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi in lead roles. It stars Jugal Hansraj, Aradhana and Urmila as child actors.
Urmila debuted as a child artiste in 1977 with ‘Karma’. Later, as a mature actor, he gave many great films to the film industry, which include films like Narasimha, ‘Rangeela’, ‘Judaai’, ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’, ‘Bhoot’, ‘Pinjar’.
