Mumbai, November 26 (IANS). A massive fire broke out in a flat on the 15th floor of the high profile Vertex Society located in Kalyan Adharwadi area of Maharashtra. The fire was so terrible that it engulfed the adjacent flat as well.
As soon as information about the incident was received, five fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire. Five to seven people have been evacuated safely. There are reports of some people trapped on the upper floors of the building. Rescue work is being done rapidly.
According to media reports, no casualties have been reported so far in this incident. Firefighters are continuously trying to control the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
For information, let us tell you that earlier on November 25, a fire broke out after an explosion in a chemical factory in Anand Nagar MIDC area of Ambernath, Maharashtra. The fire broke out in a chemical factory named Rasino Pharma. Following the incident, safety and rescue operations were swiftly carried out.
