FCI Mazdoor Vikas Union demonstrated at Tonk : Niwai with their 16-point demands. Employees of Mazdoor Vikas Union raised slogans against the Central Government regarding their demands.
Labor Union President Madanlal Gurjar said that a protest and fast unto death will be held on December 10 at 12:00 at the Food Corporation of India headquarters in Bara Khamba, New Delhi, regarding 16 demands of the working class. He told that our demand is that single labor system should be implemented. In compliance with this, monthly guaranteed wages of workers on no work should be determined. Maximum work should be provided to no work no pay workers. The sack rate of those employed workers is low, it should be made equal.
Like departmental workers and employees, workers should be given the facility of family medical treatment in the panel hospitals of Food Corporation of India. Booking of workers on ration basis should be stopped. Demonstrations have been held across the country today under the banner of FCI Mazdoor Vikas Union on various demands including abolishing the contract system from contractual warehouses and implementing regular system.
