Jammu, December 1 (IANS). Jammu and Kashmir BJP leader Ravinder Raina reacted to PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti’s statement.
He said that Mehbooba Mufti has given a very unfortunate statement. At present, terrible atrocities are taking place in Bangladesh, the minority community is being targeted. Women are being murdered inside their homes and youth are being beaten inside their homes. Even the Prime Minister of the elected government of Bangladesh was thrown out of Bangladesh within an hour.
He said that the whole world is worried about Bangladesh today. In such a situation, Mehbooba Mufti’s statement linking Bangladesh with India is very unfortunate, wrong and condemnable. Mehbooba Mufti sometimes holds meetings with Indie Alliance in Delhi, sometimes in Mumbai, Kolkata and Jammu and Kashmir. I want to ask whether he ever felt insecure. Today by giving such a controversial statement he has committed treason.
Let us tell you that on Sunday, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, while referring to the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, had said that atrocities are being committed against our Hindu brothers there and here too we are committing atrocities against the minorities, so we have to do more. There remains a difference between them.
He had said that if we harass the minorities in India. If we go to their mosques and find temples, then in such a situation what difference will there be between Bangladesh and us. Even in Bangladesh, Hindus are being continuously targeted. Their religious places are being attacked. In Bangladesh, people who raised their voice against the atrocities against Hindus were put in jail there. In the same way, here also those who speak against the atrocities against minorities are also being put in jail.
