Sawai Madhopur : Villagers of village Meenpada of Talwara tehsil on Monday submitted a memorandum to Collector Dr. Gaurav Saini demanding removal of encroachment on the road leading from Badi Kothi to Moksh Dham in village Meenpada. Villagers Ramraj Meena, Mor Singh Meena, Brijmohan Meena, Pukhraj Meena, Hanuman Meena, Baburi, Pinky Bai, Seema, Chetram, Pitam, Jeetram etc. told that Khasra numbers 217 and 151 were sent to Tehsildar Talwara to mark encroachment on the non-possible route. A revenue team was formed by the Revenue Department and the team identified the encroachment and submitted a report to the Tehsildar on June 11, 2024. Presented to Talwara. On the basis of this, action was taken by the administration to remove the encroachment on the spot on June 22, 2024, but during that time, Tejaram’s son Ramkunwar has barricaded the impossible path with wood.
Apart from this, Mukesh son of Ramkhiladi and Rishikesh son of Ramkhiladi made a fence by placing wood. Similarly, the land on Khasra No. 217 Garmajrua Road was encroached upon by building a house, which was not completely removed. The said place was not made encroachment free by the administration team. Due to non-removal of encroachment, their courage became high and now they have encroached again, due to which the problems of the villagers have increased. He has demanded from the Collector that the road should be demarcated by making the road encroachment free from the said influential account holders and it should also be ensured that encroachment does not happen in future. There is a demand to impose restrictions on this, so that the common people can get relief from the problem of the road.
