When the government and administration did not take any action on the demand, the villagers decided not to vote in the by-election to be held on 13 November. Independent candidate Naresh Meena also participated in the protest, but during this, Sub Divisional Officer Amit Chaudhary, present at the spot, put pressure on an Asha Sahyogini and other people of the village to vote. Angered by this, independent candidate Naresh Meena angrily slapped him. After this, the police administration came to the protest site and released tear gas shells, fired in the air and lathicharged the villagers. There was a stampede among the villagers and a large number of villagers were injured. He alleged that the above incident and action were taken as part of a well-planned conspiracy.

The administration unnecessarily arrested the youth and supporters of Naresh Meena and candidate Meena. He alleged that the police-administration has arrested Naresh due to their stubbornness and the police is also intent on torturing Naresh in various ways. He has demanded from the Chief Minister that instructions should be given to the police administration that the legally arrested independent candidate Naresh Meena should be produced in the court soon and the police should not demand remand.
