Jaipur : Heavy rain will start in Rajasthan from July 3. According to Meteorological Center Jaipur, rain is forecast in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Udaipur and Kota divisions on July 3, 4 and 5. Heavy rain is likely at some of these places. There is also a possibility of rain with thunder in some parts of Bikaner division of western Rajasthan. There is a strong possibility of increase in rain activities and arrival of monsoon in some parts of Bikaner division of northwestern Rajasthan during July 4 to 6.
According to the data released by the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in many parts of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours. Moderate to heavy rainfall with thundershowers was recorded at some places in the southern and eastern parts of the state. The highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan was recorded in Ghatol, Banswara at 76 mm and in western Rajasthan, Raniwara, Jalore recorded 71 mm rainfall. In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature in the state was 41.3 degrees in Sriganganagar.
