Jodhpur : Autonomous Government Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra reached Jodhpur on his two-day visit. Here he held a meeting with officials of Jodhpur Development Authority along with Jodhpur Municipal Corporation North and South. Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot and BJP MLAs Atul Bhansali and Devendra Joshi were also present in the meeting. Talking to reporters after the meeting, the Autonomous Government Minister said that the complaints and economic issues of Jodhpur Municipal Corporation North and South were discussed. Also, instructions have been given to identify all the government properties coming under the Municipal Corporation.
It was decided in the meeting that a portal should be created by the Municipal Corporation, in which the properties of the Municipal Corporation should be shown with details. Also, all the leases issued by the corporation should also be shown on the portal. In the complaints related to land lease, absence of files and lack of signatures in many leases, the corporation officials should investigate and if found wrong, ACB and A letter should be written to SOG so that they can be investigated. The files which are safe should be launched in the market so that revenue can be earned from them and development can be done.
Speaking on encroachment, Minister Kharra said that by removing the properties on which there are temporary encroachments, the corporation should take them back into its possession and the properties on which there are permanent encroachments should be regularized and the corporation should work to earn revenue so that in the future Jodhpur Whatever problems there are, they can be resolved. He said that approvals are being issued for construction of commercial shops even on small roads and for those who do not have any space for parking, we are also considering building a collective complex and making multi-storey parking below it. .
