Jaipur : Today Pink City Jaipur is celebrating its 297th anniversary. On this occasion, Minister of State for Urban Development, Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra gave a message for the people of Jaipur. He said that this is the same historical day when the foundation of this city was laid with the unique vision and amazing architectural skills of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singhji II. It is not just a city, but is a confluence of culture, traditions, and glorious history of our state, which creates its unique identity in the whole world. People of Jaipur, this is your own city and it is the collective responsibility of all of you to maintain its glory.
Make Jaipur a city of dreams- Kharra
The minister in the Bhajan Lal government appealed to the city residents and said that as citizens of Jaipur, everyone should ensure that every corner is clean, covered with greenery and rich in beauty. Proper disposal of waste, saving water and preserving the environment are not the responsibility of the administration alone, it is a joint responsibility of you and us. Don’t consider Jaipur just a city, make it the city of your dreams. A city which should be an example of cleanliness, greenery and development. Kharra said that the identity of Jaipur lies in its rich heritage, vibrant traditions and modern progress. Resolve to keep it clean and protected. When we keep our streets, monuments and markets clean, it is not just an act of cleanliness but also a symbol of respecting the heritage. It is time that we take active participation in the development and beautification of our city.

He said, “Jaipur is known for its unity in diversity. The cultural heritages here like Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar tell the stories of our glorious past. It is our duty to preserve these heritages and create new ones for the future. “Make this city even more beautiful for future generations.”
