Jaipur : Due to the idea of One State, One Election in Rajasthan, there is a possibility of extending the date of elections for Panchayati Raj institutions. The government can appoint administrators in gram panchayats where the tenure of the sarpanches is completed. The Sarpanch wants that he should be given an opportunity to work as a caretaker. Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar gave a statement on this on Monday (December 2).
Demand of Sarpanches – Panchayat funds should be released soon
Minister Madan Dilawar said, “It will be decided in the cabinet meeting whether administrators will be appointed or not. Under One State, One Election, elections can be conducted for Panchayati Raj institutions and cooperative institutions along with local bodies.” The demand of the Sarpanches is that the funds of the Panchayats should be released soon. The village government has made it clear that the Administrator will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Madan Dilawar took a meeting of Panchayati Raj Department officials
Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar held a meeting with the CEO of the Zilla Parishad and officials of the Panchayati Raj Department on Monday (2 December). He asked to pay attention to keeping rural areas clean. Cleaners will be employed through contract firms. The sweeper will get a salary of Rs 11 to 13 thousand every month. Dilawar also told that such a center is being built in the education complex, from where all the schools of the state can be monitored. An effort is being made to get it inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
Prepare a plan to remove encroachment
Government Secretary of Panchayati Raj Department, Dr. Jogaram directed that along with giving priority to cleanliness in Gram Panchayats, encroachment should be removed from pastures and ponds. Minister Dilawar said, often only the encroachments of poor people are removed. This time, first remove the encroachment of influential people.
