Barmer : 14 year old minor drank pesticide lying outside the house. Due to this his health deteriorated. The family brought him to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead. The incident took place last evening in Setrau village of Ramsar police station in Barmer district. Police have registered a case on the report of family members and started investigation. The post-mortem of the deceased’s body has been conducted and the body has been handed over to the family members. The family told the police that the mental balance of the girl was not good.
According to the police, Jasu’s daughter Chenaram, resident of Setrau, was at home on Thursday evening. Crops have been sown outside the house. There was medicine to spray the crops to protect them from pesticides. Jasu unknowingly drank that pesticide. Seeing his health deteriorating, the family members took him to Ramsar. The doctors there referred him to Barmer. The girl died during treatment here. On receiving the information, Ramsar police station reached the hospital. The girl’s body was kept in the hospital mortuary at night.
Head constable Jagdish Kumar said- The deer has been registered on the report of the deceased’s father Chenaram. The girl’s body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem. The family members have stated in the report that the mental balance of the girl was not good for some time. At present the investigation is going on.
