Miscreants broke the gold chain from the neck of a woman walking on Jhunjhunu road, case registered.

Jhunjhunu : In Jhunjhunu city on Wednesday evening, miscreants riding a bike pounced on the neck of a woman walking on the road and broke the gold chain. This incident was captured in CCTV. The video of the incident has surfaced today. The incident took place near Kamal Heights in the Kotwali police station area of ​​the city. Garima Soni, wife of Manoj, resident of ward no. 24 of the city, lodged a complaint in the Kotwali police station regarding the incident. In the report, Garima said- On the evening of 27th November (Wednesday), I had gone to the market with my daughter and daughter-in-law. All three of us were returning home on foot from the market. When we reached the street in front of Kamal Heights in the Kotwali police station area, two youths came on a bike. After seeing us they first went ahead. Then they turned the bike back and came towards us at high speed, pounced on my neck, broke the gold chain and ran away. We raised an alarm but they disappeared from sight within a few seconds. We went home and informed the family members about the incident. Then he went to the Kotwali police station with his family and got the case registered. CCTV of the incident surfaced on Thursday, in which the youth are seen breaking the chain.

Had broken the chain by entering the house 17 days ago

Earlier also, 17 days ago, in the same area, a youth had entered the house in broad daylight and broken the chain from the neck of an elderly woman. The incident was captured in CCTV footage. The police have not been able to reveal that yet. A similar incident had taken place at the same place about three and a half months ago. The miscreants broke the gold chain from the neck of a woman traveling on a scooter. There was also an incident of chain breaking near Morarka College.

More than 20 incidents occurred this year

There have been about 21 incidents of chain snatching in the district this year. On November 7, in Surajgarh town, two youths riding a bike broke the chain from the neck of a woman named Sudha near Barasia College. In Chirawa, bike-riding miscreants snatched a gold chain from a woman’s neck. On June 15, they broke the medallion of a woman who was taking a morning walk near Khatikan garden on Jhajhar Road in Nawalgarh. On August 16, in Nawalgarh, a chain was broken from the neck of a woman at the bus stand. Not a single incident was disclosed by the police this year. This has increased the morale of chain snatchers. The incident that happened in Jhunjhunu is a challenge for the police.
