Dausa : There was panic on Thursday night due to the news of firing near Goya Ka Bass in Balahedi police station area of Dausa district. When the police reached the spot on receiving information about this, a car was found overturned in a field in a damaged condition, on which marks of firing were found at several places. However, there was no casualty in the incident. The police have taken possession of the car and parked it in the police station premises. In this case, the police has also not initially denied the incident of firing and has said that the situation will become clear after investigation.
Police said that at around 10.30 pm, information was received that unknown miscreants opened fire on a brother and sister traveling in a car near Goya Ka Bass. Pappu Meena and his sister from the family of former sarpanch of Balahedi Gram Panchayat Ramphool Meena and his sister were traveling in the car, who were returning to their home. After this, when the police reached the spot, the car was found overturned in a field in a damaged condition. Marks of firing were found on its bonnet and gate. On the behest of the car rider, the police searched for the miscreants, but could not find them.
Police have received information that there is a long standing dispute going on between two groups.
