Bhilwara News Desk: The absconding accused of attack and firing on the couple had an encounter with the police on Mangrop-Harni Mahadev Temple Road near the city on Sunday night. The accused opened fire on the police. In response the police opened fire. Two accused were shot in the encounter. He was admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. The firing caused a sensation. Police Japta narrowly escaped. There was panic in the police department. Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh Yadav and other officers reached MGH. Bullets were being taken out from the feet of the accused till late night. According to the information, on November 6, Kamlesh Khati and Rahul Sen etc. fired and attacked the house of Congress leaders Pushpa Surana and Vidyasagar Surana in Neelkanth Colony of Kotwali police station area over a land dispute. The accused were absconding for twelve days.
