Are they getting away from their loved ones?
Excessive use of mobile is leading to such a mindset in children that they are getting away from their loved ones. They get angry more often. They are ready to fight. They do not pay attention to studies. After playing violent games and watching objectionable content on mobile, the child likes to stay alone. Gets angry on small things. Gets angry as soon as the mobile is taken from his hand or tries to vandalize it. Despite offline studies starting, he makes excuses to study on mobile. – Dr. BS Shekhawat, Senior Psychiatrist, Medical College Kota

You’ve been playing games for so long
I When I reached home at 8 pm after buying vegetables from the market, my daughter Archana was playing games on her mobile in the upstairs room. I called out loudly three-four times, but she was so engrossed in using her mobile that she did not respond. I went upstairs to the room and scolded my daughter saying that she was playing games for so long… She has to go to school on Tuesday (2 July), pack her bag and study a little… and snatched the mobile and came downstairs. Barely 20-25 minutes later, I called out to Archana, but there was no response. When I went upstairs to her room, she had locked the door. When I looked through the window, she had died. I called out to her a lot, but she did not respond. In such a situation, I got very scared and called Archana’s father. He reached home, knocked on the door, but there was no response. During this, I also called the police. When the police reached the hospital with Archana, the doctors declared her dead. Archana Bairwa’s mother Manju Bairwa is hurt by her daughter committing suicide over such a small matter.
