Modi government gave a gift of 7896 crores to Rajasthan, know the reaction of the Energy Minister on this

Jaipur : After the electricity discussion in the Assembly on Friday, Minister of State for Energy Hiralal Nagar said that the BJP government is working with a visionary thinking. Work has started on the MoU of 1.60 lakh crores to strengthen the power generation and transmission system. We are working on the basis of the demand of the next 10 years. Tender has recently been issued for 2000 MW of electricity. Solar panels of 1000 MW capacity will be installed on all government offices, so that electricity produced from thermal can be saved.

The minister informed that recently, approval of Rs 7896 crore has been received from the Central Government in the RDSS scheme, which will lead to segregation of more than 7000 feeders of Rajasthan. He said that by the year 2027, we will provide electricity to farmers in two blocks during the day. Regarding agricultural connections, our government has set a target of issuing 1.50 lakh connections. He said that all agricultural connections will be shifted to daytime in the next two years and will be connected to solar. Nagar informed that 1000 MW solar plants will be installed at government offices, its bid has been issued.

Congress government had bought expensive coal- Minister Nagar
Minister Nagar blamed the Congress government for buying expensive coal. He said that due to the inability to start coal mining from the allotted coal blocks in the previous government, expensive coal was bought from other sources. The coal which cost Rs. 4000 per ton was bought as imported coal at the rate of Rs. 18 thousand per ton. This is why the burden of fuel surcharge is falling on the common people.
