Mohammad Raza of Bhilwara Shahpura performed brilliantly in the basketball competition.

Bhilwara : 68th National Basketball Competition for 17 years age group was organized in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. In which Mohammad Raza Khan of Shahpura has won the bronze medal with his excellent performance. In the closing ceremony of the competition, a medal ceremony was organized in the presence of Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. More than 1200 players and coaches from 33 states participated in the competition.

Rajasthan team coach Rajendra Singh said that in the 68th National Basketball Competition of 17 years category, Rajasthan has won the bronze medal by defeating Delhi by 66-38 points. Rajasthan has won a medal in school basketball after 15 years. Coach Rajendra Singh said that Mohammad Raza Khan son of Shahpura Shabbir Khan Kayamkhani has performed excellently with the team in the competition.

There is a wave of happiness in Shahpura when Rajasthan got the medal due to Raza’s excellent game. At present Mohd. Raza will go to West Bengal for the 39th Youth National Basketball Competition 2024 to be held in Kolkata from November 29. Before that, they will take training in the camp of the 16-member team organized in Didwana. Mohammad Raza has been receiving training from coach Rakesh Bishnoi at Basketball Academy Jaisalmer for the last 2 years. Former national players of Shahpura, Shankar Singh Rathod and Ram Gopal Jinagar have expressed happiness.
