Jhunjhunu : As soon as winter starts, there is movement of monkeys from the mountains in all the villages of the hilly areas. It is said that due to lack of proper arrangement for food and water in the mountains during winter, these monkeys come to the villages in search of food and water. Ordinary monkeys do not cause as much trouble as red faced monkeys do. These days, terror of red faced monkeys is spreading in Bagholi village of the area. Giving information, Shakti Singh Bagholi said that due to the terror of red faced monkeys, life of the people is becoming difficult. The monkeys have created a terror by destroying valuables. At the same time, small children, elderly people and animals are finding it difficult to get out of the house.
It is the Forest Department’s responsibility, not my responsibility, the Gram Panchayat is not paying attention.
Actually, a forest post is established in Bagholi village for the protection of wild animals. But the villagers say that when the higher officials of the forest department were made aware of the problem of terror caused by red faced monkeys in the village, they shrugged it off and said that it is not the responsibility of the forest department. The Gram Panchayat is not paying any attention to this problem. Day by day this problem is becoming a problem. The villagers allege that these red-faced monkeys can cause a major accident at any time.
