Monkeypox has struck Rajasthan, alert issued across the state

Jaipur : The Central Government has issued an advisory in view of the cases of monkeypox virus spreading in Asian countries including countries of the African continent. In view of this, the Rajasthan Health Department has also given instructions to take precautions for the citizens coming from abroad. In recent times, no case of monkeypox has been reported in India. After the World Health Organization declared it an emergency, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued an advisory to all the states regarding this. Doctors say that this is an infectious disease. The patient affected by this virus gets large rashes like gram on his body. Along with this, the patient starts having high fever and muscle pain. According to doctors, this is a viral infection disease and spreads rapidly by coming in contact with each other.

These symptoms are also seen

Patients suffering from monkeypox develop initial symptoms that are similar to flu. These include fever, body ache and rashes on the body, as well as chills, fatigue and swollen lymph nodes. These symptoms can appear from the 5th day to the 21st day of infection.

Special attention on those coming from African countries

The advisory has asked to keep a special eye on people coming from African countries. If someone comes from a foreign country and shows symptoms of this type of disease, he should immediately consult a doctor. The administration should be informed. Similarly, if any suspect is found, instructions have been given to take his sample and send it for testing and monitor the people who came in contact with him.
