Jaipur : The weather suddenly changed once again in the afternoon in the capital Jaipur. The rain which started at 1 pm continued for about an hour. During this time, it rained heavily for half an hour. Many areas including Jagatpura, JLN Marg, C-Scheme, Malviya Nagar, Sanganer, Sahakar Marg, Tonk Road, Parkota received rain. The roads got waterlogged due to the rain. However, due to Bharat Bandh, the traffic pressure was less, so there was no jam situation. 17 mm of rain was recorded by the Water Resources Department on JLN Marg. The weather center recorded 1 mm of rain at Sanganer Airport. The weather center has predicted monsoon activation and heavy rain in Jaipur for the next seven days from Thursday.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is formed over northern Bangladesh and surrounding areas and the monsoon trough line is passing through Sri Ganganagar, Rohtak. Due to the effect of the above system, there is a strong possibility of monsoon being active in many parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next one week. During this period, there is a possibility of moderate to sometimes heavy rain with thunder in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur divisions. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in the districts of Kota, Udaipur and Jaipur divisions for the next 5-6 days.
