Jaipur : The active monsoon in the state has covered more than 15 districts in three days. Moderate to heavy rains have begun in these districts. Monsoon reached Jaipur on Thursday. Drains overflowed after heavy rains in Kota, Jhalawar, Bundi districts. Water flowed over the anicut of Namana river. Rivers and streams overflowed due to rain in Dholpur, Ajmer, Bharatpur as well. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Jaipur-Bharatpur division from 29 June to 2 July.
A young man drowned in an open drain during rain, died
In Jodhpur, a coaching student Tagaram, resident of Suwalia village of Shergarh area, died after falling into an open drain on Airport Road during heavy rain on Thursday. He was walking.
