Rajasthan : Changes in the weather are being seen every day in Rajasthan. But these days the effect of rain in the state seems to be decreasing. Today, Friday, 30 August 2024, rain will be seen in many districts of the state. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for light and moderate rain at some places in Nagaur, Ajmer, Dholpur districts in the state. In the last 24 hours, rain with thunder has been recorded at some places in the state. Heavy rainfall has been recorded at some places in Sriganganagar district. The highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan has been recorded in Mount Abu at 49.0 mm and Jaitsar, Sriganganagar in western Rajasthan at 80.0 mm. In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 35.0 degrees Phalodi and the highest minimum temperature was recorded at 27.3 degrees Bikaner.

According to the Meteorological Department, the deep depression formed over South Gujarat has reached Saurashtra-Kutch region while moving towards the west. It is likely to gradually move towards the Gulf of Arabian Sea. Rainfall activities are likely to decrease from August 30 in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner division of western Rajasthan. Rainfall activities are likely to increase again from September 3. Heavy rain activities will decrease in some parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 2-3 days and rain activities are likely to increase again from September 2-3 in some parts of Udaipur, Kota and Bharatpur divisions and heavy rains are likely to be recorded at some places.
