Kota : Baran district of Hadauti region received good rainfall. The rain continued throughout the district, including Baran city. The continuous rain is causing damage to the lives of people as well as the crops. On Wednesday, maximum rainfall was recorded in Chhipabaraud. 86 mm of rain was recorded in Chhipabaraud, 50 in Atru, 30 in Baran, 26 in Mangrol, 23 in Anta, 22 in Shahabad, 22 in Chhabra and 12 mm in Kishanganj. The weather was clear in Kota city in the morning. It was cloudy in the evening, but it did not rain. It was cloudy in Bundi and Jhalawar.
Heavy rain likely for two days
According to the Meteorological Center, Wellmark Low Pressure has intensified again today and has become a depression. Currently, it is over north-eastern Madhya Pradesh. There is a strong possibility of it moving in the north-west direction towards western UP in the next 24 hours. Monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 3-4 days and moderate to heavy rain is likely. Heavy and very heavy rains are likely to continue in Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Ajmer divisions for the next 36 hours i.e. on 12th and 13th September.
