Monsoon has faded in many districts of Rajasthan, people are yearning for rain, know the update

Jodhpur : It has been almost two months since the monsoon season in the state. On paper, the average rainfall in the state till July 29 is normal. The average rainfall in Rajasthan till this time is 206.3 mm and till now 206.2 mm of rain has occurred, but this time a different pattern of monsoon is being seen. Sirohi and Vagad region, the places with maximum rainfall in the state, are yearning for rain. The least rainfall has occurred in Sirohi, where till now 404.6 mm of rain should have occurred. Till now only 246.4 mm of rain has occurred here. Apart from Sirohi, there is lack of rain in Jodhpur, Pali, Jalore, Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh.

Rainfall near 400 mm in 5 districts

So far, five districts of the state, Dholpur, Dausa, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur and Kota have received rainfall close to 400 mm. The maximum rainfall has been recorded in Dausa at 460 mm. The lowest rainfall has been recorded in Jaisalmer of western Rajasthan at 77.4 mm which is only four percent less than the normal average rainfall of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer is the only district where rainfall has been less than 100 mm.
