Monsoon havoc continues in Rajasthan, alert issued in many districts, flood like situation persists

Rajasthan : Monsoon is in active mode in Rajasthan. Rain is going on intermittently in most of the districts of the state. Due to torrential rains in Rajasthan, rivers and streams are overflowing. People are facing difficulties in commuting due to waterlogging due to heavy rains. An alert has been issued regarding heavy rains in more than 25 districts on Friday.

The Meteorological Center has also issued yellow and orange alerts for many districts of the state. Heavy to very heavy rains were also recorded in the eastern and western parts of the state during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 195 mm was recorded in Khajuwala of Bikaner. At the same time, 141 mm rain was recorded in Mangalana Dungar of Sawai Madhopur.

Meanwhile, Director of Meteorological Centre, Radheshyam Sharma said that the period of heavy and very heavy rains will continue in the state for the next 1 week. In view of the heavy rains, warnings are also being issued from time to time by the Meteorological Centre. Monsoon will start becoming more active in the state in the coming few hours. Which can maintain its activity for 72 hours.

There is a high possibility of heavy and very heavy rains in many districts of Ajmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur division. Also, a low pressure area remained over Jharkhand yesterday. Due to the formation of this system, there is a possibility of monsoon becoming more intense in the next 36 hours. Due to the low pressure area, rain activities will increase from tomorrow.

On the other hand, heavy and very heavy rainfall of more than 200 mm is expected in Kota, Udaipur division during 4-5 August and heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner division during 4 to 6 August. Very heavy rains may occur at different places in eastern Rajasthan today and tomorrow.

Heavy rain in these districts on 3-4 August

There is a possibility of heavy rain in these districts of the state on 3 and 4 August. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in districts including Karauli, Ajmer, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Pali, Bikaner, Sawai Madhopur, Churu, Jodhpur. Due to which the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert here too.

Orange alert issued in these districts

According to meteorologists, an orange alert has been issued due to heavy rains in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, Sikar, Bharatpur, Alwar, Dholpur, Jhunjhunu, Dausa and its surrounding districts. During this period, strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour.
