Due to good rains in the recent past, there was a continuous inflow of water in the catchment area of Bisalpur Dam, which is called the lifeline of the capital Jaipur, Tonk and Ajmer as well as some other districts. Due to continuous rains in the catchment area of the dam, the water level of the rivers joining the dam started rising rapidly. The filling capacity of the dam is 315.50 RL meters. Most of the water inflow in the dam starts from the month of August. Which comes through Banas, Khari and Dai rivers. But this time due to continuous good monsoon in the state, the water level of the dam is increasing due to the rain in the catchment area from the last week of June and the beginning of July. The entire rain of the month of August is still left. In such a situation, it is estimated that the dam will be completely filled this time.
