Rajasthan : Monsoon has completely arrived in Rajasthan. Due to which heavy rains are continuing in the entire state. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the average rainfall in the state from 1 June to 1 July is 58 mm, whereas till now 54.6 mm of rain has occurred i.e. 6 percent less rain has occurred. Still, out of 33 districts of the state, 20 have received less rainfall than average. Above average rainfall has been recorded in 11 districts while average rainfall has been recorded in two districts. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, good rains are expected in July. Monsoon is still three months away.
Yellow alert issued in 31 districts
According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, a yellow alert for light to moderate rain has been issued in 23 districts of East Rajasthan and 8 districts of West Rajasthan on Tuesday. Similarly, heavy rains have been predicted in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota divisions during July 3 to 5. Apart from this, there is a strong possibility of increase in rain activities in some parts of Bikaner division of northwestern Rajasthan during July 4 to 6.
Temperature of last 24 hours
Along with this, the highest rainfall in the state in the last 24 hours on Monday was recorded in Ghatol of Banswara in eastern Rajasthan at 76 mm (3 inches) and Raniwara of Jalore in western Rajasthan at 71 (2.84 inches). Apart from this, 41.4 mm rain was recorded in Kota, 65 mm in Churu and 42 mm in Mount Abu. Here, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 42.4 degrees in Sri Ganganagar.
