Rajasthan : Monsoon is becoming active once again in Rajasthan. Rain activities are expected to intensify from Thursday. The Meteorological Center Jaipur has issued an orange alert for rain in Alwar, Dausa, Bharatpur, Dholpur on Thursday. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued in 10 districts. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, there is a possibility of heavy rain and at some places heavy rain in some parts of Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions on August 1. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in some parts of Bikaner division.
Monsoon is likely to become active in eastern Rajasthan from August 2 and in western Rajasthan from August 3 and increase in rainfall activities. On Wednesday, there was rain in some districts of the state. In the evening, rain alert was issued in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Bikaner. The highest rainfall of 65 mm was recorded in Kotputli. 18 mm rainfall was recorded at Sanganer Airport in Jaipur.
Heavy rain for half an hour in Kota city and Arandkheda
On Wednesday, clouds covered the Hadauti region but there was scattered rain. Due to this, people were suffering from the humid heat. Scattered rain occurred in Kota city during the day. Heavy rain occurred for half an hour in the cantonment area. It only drizzled in Thegda while the other areas remained dry. The humidity remained high due to the cloudy weather. Clouds covered the sky in the evening but it did not rain. According to the Meteorological Department, 0.7 mm of rain was recorded from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Heavy rain occurred for half an hour after 2 pm in Arandkheda and nearby villages of Kota district.
