Rajasthan : There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Udaipur divisions of Rajasthan. There may be heavy rain at some places. There is a possibility of rain in Kota, Udaipur and Jaipur divisions for the next 5-6 days. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of Kota and Udaipur divisions of south-eastern Rajasthan. There is a strong possibility of heavy rain during 25-26 August.
Yellow alert in Hanumangarh and Jhunjhunu
Yellow alert has been issued in Hanumangarh and Jhunjhunu of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in these districts. The Meteorological Department has alerted. Do not take shelter under trees during rain. Light to moderate rain may occur in the next 2-3 days in Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions of western Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Jodhpur between 24 and 25 August. There may be light rain at some places in Bikaner division.
Monsoon may become active again in Rajasthan
Rajasthan could have got some relief from rain after August 25. But, the monsoon has become active again. A low pressure area is formed over northern Bangladesh and surrounding areas. The monsoon trough line is passing through Sri Ganganagar and Rohtak.
Possibility of heavy rain in eastern Rajasthan
On Thursday (August 22), an alert has been issued for heavy rain in Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh and Rajsamand. There will be no relief from rain for the next three days. There was a possibility of heavy rain in some districts of eastern Rajasthan.
