Jaipur : Hundreds of private schools of the state, which are collecting money from parents by giving dummy admission to coaching students during class 10th, 11th and 12th school studies, have come under the radar of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). After the cancellation of recognition of five private schools of Kota and Sikar, there is panic among the school operators and parents of the state. According to the information, CBSE has started inspection of such schools in Delhi and Rajasthan. It is being told that more list will be released by CBSE. Actually, after 10th class, students take coaching to prepare for engineering and medical competitive exams. In such a situation, most of the time is spent in coaching instead of school. There are about one lakh such students in cities across the state including Jaipur, Kota, Sikar, Jodhpur, Udaipur.
will get the investigation done
Dummy admissions are taking place in private schools. This is wrong. The matter has come to my knowledge. If dummy admissions are taking place in other such schools in the state, then investigation will be conducted as per CBSE rules.

Rules: It is necessary to come to school, 75 percent attendance is mandatory.
It is mandatory for children to have 75 percent attendance in any class. If the attendance is less than this, a notice is given to the child by the school. The child cannot appear in the board examination. At the same time, dummy admission is against the rules.
Many schools are running only for dummy admissions.
Many such schools are also opened in the state which are running on rented buildings. There are neither teachers nor classes are being conducted in these schools. Children will be found in the records of these schools but they are not given education. These schools are being run only for dummy admissions.
Now what about the children of these schools?
Students of classes 10th-12th registered in the session 2024-25 of the respective schools will take the examination. Whereas students studying in classes 9th and 11th will be shifted to nearby CBSE affiliated schools. Recognition of private schools has been cancelled, they will not be able to make new admissions or promote students in any class in future.
charging double the fees for dummies
The trend of taking dummy admission in class 11th and 12th is increasing in the state. The number of such schools is highest in Kota, Jaipur and Sikar. Apart from CBSE, dummy admissions are also being taken in many schools of Rajasthan Board. Even though the fees of these schools is up to Rs 50 thousand, but up to Rs 1 lakh is being collected in the name of dummy admission. In return for this, students are being given permission not to come to school. Children are called only at the time of examinations and practicals. Not only this, dummy admissions are done in schools in collusion with coaching institutes also.
CBSE is taking action
Many complaints of dummy admission in Rajasthan also reach the Education Department and the Board of Secondary Education. But no action has been taken yet by the board and department in any district including Jaipur. The action taken by CBSE against the schools of the state has also raised questions on the working style of the department and the board.
