Kota News Desk: The application process for the January session of JEE Main is going on on behalf of Kota National Testing Agency. The examination will be conducted in two shifts on each day from January 22 to 31. The last date of application is 22nd November at 9 pm. After application, the examination fee can be deposited till 11.55 pm on 22nd November. Career counseling expert Amit Ahuja said that this year the highest number of students till date is expected to appear in JEE Main. This number may exceed 13 lakhs. Last year 12 lakh 21 thousand 764 had got registered. So far this year, more than 12 lakh 50 thousand students have applied. By the last day this number may exceed 13 lakhs. The biggest reason for this is the large number of category students applying in the last days, who did not have the category related details sought in the earlier application. Category certificates were not available with these students. Correction option for mistakes made in the application will be given on 26th and 27th November. In this, students will be able to make changes in all the information filled in the application.
15 days gap between board and JEE main session
According to the dates released by CBSE Board, the examination will be conducted between 17th February to 11th March. For the first time, Class 12th examinations are starting from Physical Education examination. The first paper will be of Physical Education on 17th February. Lastly, the English exam will be held on 11th March. Students are getting a gap of 16 days between both the sessions of JEE Main examinations and CBSE board examinations. JEE Main examinations will be conducted from January 22 to 31 and April session examinations will be conducted from April 1 to 9. Students will be able to study better in the given interval of Board and JEE Main examinations. The largest number of students appearing for JEE Main exam are from CBSE board. Now a large number of students are seen applying for the certificate in case they do not have the category certificate.
