More than 600 soldiers will be deployed in counting of Jhunjhunu by-election.

Jhunjhunu : Counting of Jhunjhunu Assembly by-election will take place on Saturday. Regarding this, on Friday, Superintendent of Police Sharad Chaudhary held a briefing with the officers and employees of the police and paramilitary forces engaged in counting duty. The Superintendent of Police directed the police and paramilitary forces to conduct the counting of assembly by-elections peacefully at the counting venue, Seth Motilal College. Necessary guidelines were given to all the police forces including officers and employees after briefing them. SP said that concrete arrangements have been made to conduct the counting process in a fair and peaceful manner.

To strengthen the security arrangements at the counting venue, more than 600 personnel of three RAC companies, Jhunjhunu Police and Home Guards will be deployed. Security will be imposed at 5.30 in the morning. He said that there will be a ban on victory procession, joyous firing, DJ, vehicle rally etc. Armed soldiers will be deployed at the counting site. Barricades and pickets have been installed. Necessary instructions were given to many police officers including Additional SP Devendra Rajawat, Deputy SP Harisingh Dhayal to ensure strict security monitoring at the counting venue.
