Jaipur : A mother strangled her 4 year old son to death in Jaipur. The police have arrested the accused mother. The accused woman wanted to take her son to Pehar due to differences with her husband. The son did not want to go. Frustrated with this, he killed his son. SHO (Renwal) Surendra Kumar said – In the murder case, the accused mother Sarita (25), resident of Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), has been arrested. In the year 2019, Sarita was married to Mukesh in Birampura, Renwal. She lived in her in-laws house with her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and son Dikshant Chaudhary alias Dinesh Chaudhary (4). On Tuesday, husband Mukesh had gone to work in the factory. At around 9:30 pm, Sarita strangled her son Dikshant to death while he was sleeping in the room.
Slept near son’s dead body
After the murder, Sarita slept near her son’s dead body before her husband arrived. When the husband came late at night, he saw his wife and son sleeping. After this he himself fell asleep. Sarita started her work on Wednesday morning. When grandmother came into the room to feed milk, her grandson Dikshant was found in a debilitated condition. Grandmother raised an alarm and called the family members. Immediately took the child to the hospital. Doctors declared him dead. On information, Renwal police station reached the hospital and got the body kept in the mortuary.
Mother was interrogated and arrested
Postmortem revealed that the child died due to strangulation. During interrogation of the family members, suspicion was raised on mother Sarita. During interrogation, Sarita admitted to killing her son. Told that there was a rift with her husband for a long time. She wanted to take her son, but he did not want to go. Due to increasing domestic dispute, he strangled his son to death.
