Whoever heard the news of the simultaneous death of mother, son and daughter was stunned. It is being told that all three were sleeping, during this time the house caught fire and all three got burnt. A heart-wrenching incident took place in Mahavir Chauraha area of Jalore. AC is said to be the cause of fire in the house. The room caught fire due to short circuit in the air conditioner (AC). Mother and two children were sleeping inside the room who were burnt alive. When the accident occurred, only these three were present in the house.
Mother, daughter and son burnt to death
The deceased’s husband had gone to Sirohi. Before leaving, he had dropped his mother at a relative’s house. ASI Mohanlal said that around 12:45 pm on Sunday afternoon, Chetan Kumar’s house caught fire due to short circuit in the AC. Chetan Kumar’s wife Kavita (35), his son Dhruv Thakur (10) and daughter Gauravi Thakur (5) have died due to the fire. The woman’s husband Chetan Kumar is a teacher in a private school in the city. The mother-in-law of the deceased had gone to a relative’s house.
Kavita and her children were alone in the house. All three were sleeping in a room on the terrace. During this time a fire broke out. When the neighbors saw smoke coming out, they tried to go inside the house but the door was locked from inside. After this the neighbors informed the police. After receiving the information, the police arrived and broke the door of the room and entered inside but by then everything was burnt. According to the neighbours, seeing the smoke coming out, we tried to leave but the door was closed. In such a situation, we informed the police. The police came and when they broke the door and entered the house, they saw that the mother and her two children had been burnt.
