Jaipur : UIT is planning to install facade lighting on the historic Moti Dungri. This will make the pearl dungaree sparkle even at night. People will be able to enhance the look of Moti Dungaree from a distance. Besides, lighting will also be done in the parks here, which will promote night tourism at Moti Dungri. The Trust has various schemes regarding Moti Dungri. Work is being done regarding this. As these plans take concrete form, the historical form of Moti Dungri will emerge. An estimate has been prepared for installing facade lighting on the wall of Moti Dungri. It will cost around Rs 41.50 lakh. In this, 180 LED faced lights will be installed on 90 octagonal poles.
Façade lighting will illuminate the exterior of Moti Dungri. This will highlight the special features of pearl dungaree. The surrounding area can also be illuminated by lighting. This will give a different feel to the style and sophistication of pearl dungaree at night. It will be visible even from a distance at night. The expert said that in facade lighting design, attention is also paid to the sustainability of the lighting project. Energy consumption, light pollution and social impacts are kept in mind in its design. Presently in India, facade lighting is being used to decorate and beautify important buildings and monuments. Facade lighting also promotes night tourism.
