Municipality will remove encroachment in front of shops in Sriganganagar Suratgarh

Sriganganagar : The Municipal Administration made an announcement in the city on Saturday evening to remove encroachment by shopkeepers in the markets of Suratgarh. Strict instructions have been given to shopkeepers by the municipality. During this period the traffic police was also present. The municipal administration has warned that if the shopkeepers or encroachers do not remove the goods kept on the roads, then a campaign to remove encroachments will be launched from Monday. During this campaign, the goods of shopkeepers found on the road will be confiscated.

Municipality EO Pooja Sharma said that many shopkeepers on the main roads of the city have kept their goods on the roads, due to which the common people and drivers are facing problems. Apart from this, there is a possibility of accidents due to this encroachment. He said that the municipality will take strict action against such shopkeepers who have encroached. Municipal officials said that all types of encroachments will be removed with the help of JCB.

Traffic in-charge Mulsingh Shekhawat said that the announcement was made in the city along with the municipality’s brand ambassador councilor Harish Dadhich and employees. In this announcement, instructions have been given that shopkeepers should not keep goods outside their shops. He said that shopkeepers have encroached by placing goods in front of their shops, due to which the traffic system in the city is being affected. Due to this, drivers are facing problems in the main market, and traffic jams are occurring at many places. Apart from this, some shopkeepers have also given their space on rent. During the announcement, shopkeepers have been instructed to remove encroachments by Monday. If the encroachment is not removed, the administration will seize the goods and take strict action.
