This time, due to good rains till late in the month of September, the sowing of mustard in non-irrigated areas has reduced due to waterlogging in the fields. Mustard has been sown only in 42 thousand 250 hectares against the target of 80 thousand hectares. This time the area under sowing of gram has increased in non-irrigated areas.

Sowing of gram has exceeded the target. Against the target of sowing gram in 25 thousand hectares in the district, sowing has been done in 33 thousand 750 hectares. This time the area under sowing of Taramira also decreased. Against the target of 2 thousand hectares, sowing has been done in only 345 hectares in the district.

In the district, sowing has been done in 42 thousand 250 hectares against the target of 80 thousand hectares. Actually, this time due to prolonged rains in the month of September, the fields could not be prepared for sowing of mustard. There was also more humidity. Due to this, sowing of mustard has reduced. This time gram has been sown in 33 thousand 750 hectares against the target of 25 thousand hectares.
