Although at present the cases of this epidemic are increasing, but these days hundreds of sheep and goats have lost their lives due to an unknown disease in Jaisalmer area of Rajasthan. In such a situation, this disease has wreaked havoc on people. No cause of this disease has been found yet. However, the Animal Husbandry Department is investigating it.
Sheep and goat suddenly fall while walking
The maximum impact of this disease is being seen in Khuhadi area of Jaisalmer. Most of the farmers here are dependent on sheep and goat rearing. But now their sheep and goats are dying due to an unknown disease. Many farmers are also reaching the Animal Husbandry Department with dead animals. According to farmers, in this disease, sheep and goats suddenly fall down while walking and then they die. Farmers say that they have sought help from the Animal Husbandry Department but no solution has been found so far.
Post mortem of goat corpses is being done
The post-mortem of the dead goat was done by the Animal Husbandry Department. So that this disease will be detected. The Animal Husbandry Department says that the help of experts will be taken from the state level to detect this disease. A similar disease had come up earlier also but its solution could not be found. In this matter, Umesh, Joint Director of Animal Husbandry Department of Jaisalmer, says that our priority is to detect the disease as soon as possible. All possible help is being provided at the department level. The symptoms that have emerged so far do not match the existing diseases.
