Sri Ganganagar : To commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur, programs started on Friday at Gurudwara Sri Kalgidhar Sahib located in Vinoba Basti of the city. This Nagar Kirtan was taken out with Guru Granth Sahib in a palanquin decorated with flowers from the Gurudwara premises at around 8 in the morning.
Whichever route the city kirtan took, people came out to welcome it with reverence and enthusiasm. After seeing the palanquin of Guru Granth Sahib, he bowed his head.
Nagar Kirtan welcomed at many places
The Nagar Kirtan passed through the main roads of the city, Gurudwara Shri Guru Nanak Darbar in G Block, Gurudwara Shiromani Bhagat Sant Baba Namdev in D Block. Devotees welcomed Nagar Kirtan at various places and Prasad was arranged for the devotees.

The Gatka group involved in the city kirtan showed amazing feats. These people displayed excellent sword fighting. Performed spectacular stunts while standing on bamboo. In the city kirtan, people were seen doing kirtan in many groups.
