Nagaur Amrit 2.0 will provide water to last mile consumers in urban areas.

Nagaur : Chief Engineer (Urban and NRW) of Nagaur Water Supply Department, Manish Beniwal held a review meeting of the officials of Water Supply Department of Nagaur district and Didwana-Kuchaman in Nagaur circle on Saturday and gave necessary guidelines. After taking information from the officials about the works being done under Amrit 2.0 and the illegal connections and revenue collection campaign, Beniwal said that the works done in the urban areas through Amrit 2.0 will help the last mile consumers to get relief from water problems. He gave instructions to immediately recover the outstanding amount of water bills in both the districts and to take action against illegal water connection holders.

To ensure smooth supply of drinking water during the upcoming summer and canal closure, the Chief Engineer gave instructions to prepare and send proposals as per requirement very soon, so that consumers do not have to face problems regarding water in summers.
