Nagaur : Nagaur court has granted bail to gangster Anandpal’s henchman Kuldeep alias Tiku in the case of running a luxury car over two bike riders. This accident happened on the same day when QRT jawan Khumaram was shot by five miscreants including Anandpal. Bike riders Laluram alias Lalaram and Omprakash were injured in this case that happened about eight and a half years ago.
The bail application of Kuldeep alias Tiku was filed by advocate Mahavir Vishnoi. During the hearing, the advocate said that a false case has been filed against Kuldeep. He was not involved in this incident, even in the statement given by the prosecution against him, there is no case of attempt to murder. There are no criminal cases against him in which there is a provision of death sentence or life imprisonment. The accused in this case has been in judicial custody for about eight and a quarter years. Vishnoi said that in this case the High Court accepted the bail plea of Mahipal Singh, Balveer Singh alias Bablu and Azad Singh alias Bhagat. In such a situation, he should be granted bail in this case.
The Additional Public Prosecutor opposed this and said that there is a provision of life imprisonment for attempt to murder. In such a situation, his bail application should be rejected. After the hearing, Court Additional Sessions Judge No. 1 Dev Kumar Khatri said in his order that in this case, Kuldeep alias Tiku has been in judicial custody for a long time. Keeping in mind all the facts and circumstances of the case, it seems justified to accept the bail plea of the accused. He is granted bail in this case.
