Actually, here is the same farm house of gangster Anandpal, which was known as Torture House. Here people were tortured in the basement. Far away from the city, it was no less than a bunker for Anandpal. He used to spend time here in case of encounter or other dangerous situation, because the entire design of this bungalow is like a bunker. After the encounter of Anandpal in June 2017, the government had confiscated 8 bighas of land including his bungalow. Now PWD has built a girls college there at a cost of about Rs 4.50 crore. This college has also been handed over to the administration on 2 December. It is believed that with the inauguration, classes will start taking place here this month itself. The college is just 50-60 meters in front of Anandpal’s torture house. A torture room has been made here. According to the police, cages were kept in the basement, in which kidnapped people were kept. The two rooms here were like dungeons, in which people were left after being tortured. Then he was released after taking ransom. As soon as you enter, you see a big hall, which has heavy iron lattices on its windows. Even pills are ineffective on them. Round window, through which one can keep an eye till the main door. From here the enemy could also be targeted.

Presently the college is running in a building of a government school. It has only Arts and the number of girl students is 251. Apart from the Principal and an English lecturer, there are 4 other faculty under Vidya Sambal Yojana. Principal Gajadan Charan said that a letter has been written to the higher officials on Tuesday itself, probably CM Bhajanlal Sharma will virtually inaugurate the college in December itself. The girl students are also excited to go and study in the college’s own building. The new building has 7 rooms and 8 halls.
