Nagaur : Type-1 diabetes is increasing rapidly in children. This pace has increased in Nagaur district in the last three years. It is a matter of relief that now the government has included Nagaur in the pilot project for the health of such children. The government will bear the expenses including insulin and other expenses of the children suffering from this. Data of Type-1 diabetic children is being collected across the district. Till now, some children have come forward who were getting their treatment in Jaipur-Delhi. According to sources, the body of a child suffering from Type-1 diabetes is unable to produce enough insulin. Due to viral infection in the body, the risk of diabetes and type 1 diabetes is higher in children. Due to this, the immune system of the body becomes weak and the blood sugar level in the body starts increasing. Apart from this, when there is a malfunction in the pancreas, insulin is not produced properly in the body. Due to this, sugar is not digested properly in the body and the blood sugar level increases. Due to disturbances in diet and lifestyle, children are also at risk of developing type 1 diabetes.
According to statistics, the problem of type 1 diabetes in children below 5 years of age is increasing rapidly by about 3 to 4 percent every year. Due to this, the physical development of the child gets affected and the internal organs of the body can also get damaged. For a long time, the problem of type 1 diabetes occurs in children from the time of birth. Genetic reasons are considered responsible for this. In view of the increasing danger of Type-1 in children, an effort to control it has been started by issuing alerts everywhere.
