Nagaur royalty firm is swallowing workers’ money, department is showing generosity

Nagaur : Illegal exploitation of lime stone is going on day and night in Nagaur villages. Here, the royalty firm which legalizes illegal lime stone is not only crippling the government, but is also embezzling lakhs of rupees from the workers’ DMFT and the Mineral Department is also so kind to the firm that it has decided to set up roadblocks to stop illegal mining here. Instead, checkpoints have been placed at places with less illegal mining. In such a situation, there is no one to stop the looting of the employees of this royalty firm. The situation is that illegal lime stone is being legalized by ordering ravana from legitimate leases 50-50 kilometers away, but instead of taking action, the department is showing largesse. To legalize illegal mining in many villages, Ravanna is being called from many leases of Bikaner district.

all this is not happening

As per rules, good roads from DMFT (District Mineral Foundation Trust) fund, trees and plants for environmental purification, social buildings, buildings for seminars on environment, health camps organized at lime kilns and lease mines and health check up from time to time. Various facilities should be provided including hospital, GLR of water, tank, school for children of workers, labor residential building. Whereas none of these facilities are available.

We have no such complaints

Till date we have not received any complaint regarding making illegal lime stone legal by cutting royalty receipts in the villages. We have given the contract for lime stone to Riddhi Siddhi firm. The royalty firm is collecting royalty from illegal lime stone and District Mineral in the name of the workers. The Foundation Trust is also wasting money. Whereas workers unaware of government facilities are sometimes dying due to lack of medical facilities. Their children are becoming child laborers due to lack of education. Bhavanda-Manakpur, which is called an industrial city due to the abundance of lime kilns and lease mines, does not even have a doctor in the government hospital, let alone its own hospital for the workers. The workers have to look to the Bhamashahs for facilities.
