Names of ineligible people can be removed from food security till January 31

Kota : Economically capable people who are not eligible beneficiaries of food security are still taking advantage of this scheme. They can get their names removed from this scheme till January 31, 2025. Despite being financially capable, the government will make recovery from the people who are taking the benefit of National Food Security Scheme after January 31. Beneficiaries who are taking advantage of the scheme illegally can avoid departmental action by getting their names struck off by 31 January 2025. No recovery will be made from the eligible people who got their names deleted till 31st January.

District Logistics Officer II Dr. Rahul Meena said that the Give Up campaign is being run following the instructions of the Food Security Minister. Those who are not beneficiaries under the campaign (are financially capable) and are taking benefit of this scheme, they can get their names removed from this scheme till 31st January. No recovery or recovery will be made from anyone who removes his name under the Give Up campaign. After this, if an ineligible person is found taking benefits in the survey of the department, then action will be taken against him by the department. Recovery action will be taken by imposing penalty on the amount of wheat. Therefore, those capable people who are taking advantage of the scheme despite being ineligible can remove their names from the scheme at the District Logistics Department and Tehsil level office till 31st January. There are a total of 5 lakh 98 thousand 138 ration cards in the district. Of these, ration cards eligible for food security (NFSA) are 2 lakh 44 thousand 873. In which there are 9 lakh 12 thousand 174 members.
