Jaipur : Finance Minister of Rajasthan Government Diya Kumari said that the Chancellor of the state universities will now be known as Kulguru. Engineering colleges of Bharatpur, Bikaner and Ajmer in the state will be developed as Rajasthan Institute of Technology, Rs 300 crore will be spent on this.
20 new ITI’s will be opened in Rajasthan
Basic facilities including library and toilets will be developed in schools at a cost of Rs 350 crore. 20 new ITI’s will open in the state. Students securing merit in 8th, 10th and 12th will get tablets. Internet connection will be free.
The mess allowance in hostels will be increased to 3 thousand rupees.
The mess allowance in all subsidized hostels has been increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 3000. The mess allowance of players has been increased to Rs 4000. There is a provision for education and employment of youth of EWS category in the budget. Rs 150 crore was given for the conference of girls and social security of families.
Children coming to Anganwadi will get milk for 3 days
Children coming to Anganwadi will get milk three days a week. 5 new Anganwadi centres will be opened in each assembly constituency. Jaipur Metro Rail will be given budget with the help of Central, so that work on existing projects can be done.
