Mumbai, December 11 (IANS). Actor Nana Patekar, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film ‘Vanvas’, was recently seen in the quiz-based reality television show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’ hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
During the episode, the actor praised Madhuri Dixit and shared his experience of working with her with the fans.
In the episode, a viewer asked Nana Patekar about his experience of working with Madhuri Dixit in ‘Vajud’.
Responding to this, Nana Patekar said, “It was a wonderful experience. She is an extraordinary actress, beautiful and a very special dancer. She is everything an actress should be. Also she is a wonderful human being.” And I admire him very much.”
Apart from this, the audience asked about the poem, ‘Kaise Bataun Main Tumhe’, which was recited by Nana for Madhuri in the film.
The actor said, “That poem was written by Javed Akhtar sahab and even after 30-35 years of that film, it is stuck in my memories because of Madhuri. I recited it to her, so I still remember those memories.” I feel like those lines are still flowing in my blood. Whenever someone asks about it, it brings back a lot of memories.”
Nana Patekar joined the show along with Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur and writer-director Anil Sharma. Sitting on the hot seat, he enthralled the audience with his interesting stories and knowledge. Along with this he shared stories about his incredible journeys with Amitabh Bachchan. Playing for the ‘Naam’ Foundation, Nana aims to raise awareness and funds to prevent farmer suicides.
His upcoming film ‘Vanvas’ has been directed by ‘Gadar 2’ director Anil Sharma. The film team recently organized a special screening for businessman Vijaypat Singhania.
