Tonk : The demand for the release of Naresh Meena, who was an independent candidate in the by-election from Deoli Uniara assembly constituency, has now started gaining momentum. A large number of supporters from the district have reached the Mahasabha being held in Chauth Ka Barwada (Sawai Madhopur) on Sunday. Thousands of people from all walks of life have demanded the release of Naresh Meena. Also warned that if the government does not release Naresh Meena, then a big movement will be organized in the state.

In this series, his supporters have organized a general meeting of Sarva Samaj in Chauth Ka Barwada. In this, people from the district including Samravata reached the Mahasabha in Chauth Ka Barwada to get Naresh Meena released. It is known that the villagers of Samravata had boycotted the voting for the assembly by-election on 13 November. Independent candidate Naresh Meena also sat on strike in support of the villagers. Naresh Meena had slapped sector in-charge (Malpura SDM) Amit Chaudhary, accusing him of pressurizing people to cast their votes. After this, during the arrest of Naresh Meena on the same night, there was lathi charge, stone pelting and arson. Police had arrested 50 people including Naresh Meena in this case. Then on the orders of the court he was sent to jail. Four minors were granted bail in this case a week ago.
